Poesie (grch. ποίησις poiesis, „Erschaffung") steht für die Dichtung als sprachliches Kunstwerk und bezeichnet im übertragenen Sinn eine bestimmte Qualität eines Wahrgenommenen. So spricht man etwa von der „Poesie eines Moments" und meint damit die von dem Bezeichneten ausgehende Stimmung und Wirkung. Etwas, das ähnlich einem Gedicht, eine sich der Alltagssprache entziehende Wirkung entfaltet und uns oder den Moment verzaubern kann
